Working with the fantastic Andy Hall at Sapient, we spent 8 weeks deep diving into various mapping tools and interviewing a variety of Commodities (Oil & Gas and Ags) traders to get to the core of what they did on a minute by minute basis and how we could improve their workflow when introducing the new Commodities mapping component for Eikon.

We delivered a workbook to be used by their various design and development teams as the guide to building the component. The workbook was a comprehensive record of our journey with personas based on the interviewees, journeys and flows derived from said interviews, markers and pens sketches transforming into wireframes and the the privilege of working with Neville Brody's Research Studios on the visual design.
